Victoria Secret's 2018 fashion show

The Victoria Secret's 2018 Fashion show was a perfect entertaining event. It happened at Pier 94 in New York City on November 8th but it was only aired in December 2nd. The show was full of really special moments and warning, if you don't want to get spoilers STOP READING NOW! The show was opened by Leela James who sang the song "This is me" from the movie "The Greatest Showman"- a song that relates to the misfits that are not accept by society but that learn to accept themselves and be proud of who they are-. One of the things that really caught my attention was that most of the songs talked about having confidence in yourself, not changing for anyone else and loving yourself. These themes and messages are really important, especially in a career like modeling where aesthetics is so important and the opinion of others is always being "thrown at you".

There were a lot of great performances of Rita Ora, The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini, The Struts, Shawn Mendes - that won over everybody with his charm and romantic song. Two amazing performances were Halsey's and Bebe Rexha's. During both of performances we could see the models singing along and really feeling the music, because they related to it, because of the powerful message the songs delivered. Bebe's song was about loving yourself except for our faults and dependence toward somebody else's love and not needing other people. Halsey's song was about a relationship were she helped lift up a partner just to be later forgot while the partner was having his glory because of her. 

During the show they also showed the models journey, their workouts, their goals until the show; which was really awesome because it makes us feel like a part of it all and understand all the effort that is put into making that fashion show. A really touching moment was Adriana Lima's last runaway walk. She is the angels with the most walks in Victoria Secret's history, and while she walked we could see the models cheering for her and crying backstage. It was really a beautiful moment to see how they support each other, like a fraternity of sisters. Another emotional moment in the show was when Behati Prinsloo made her comeback after being away for three years, because of her new babies. The clothing was on point and magnificent, it really is worth watching and here's a little advice stay away from your credit card while watching it and have tissues next to you. Enjoy!
