FASHION against Sexism

Sexism is an ideal that is impregnated in society, most men think that they are superior and deserve more rights than women. Sexism may seem far away from the subject of Fashion but they have a really strong and important connection throughout the years.

Fashion was a tool for women, an instrument that helped them fight for their rights, and still does. A lot of revolutionary outfits were a way of speaking up, a way to show that women have a voice. Since the 10s that fashion has been changing the function of women's rights and combat of sexism.

In the 10s designers stop using the corset to give women the power to have their own bodies and be proud of it. In the 20s women saw their men dying in the great war so they started acting like men did, going to bars, and smoking they wanted to have the same rights as men and enjoy life, and throughout the decades that's been happening and continues to happen in a way of women expression through fashion.
