Self-expression by Fashion

People use Fashion to express themselves.  Fashion is an art, it exists not only all around the world but inside us; it changes according to its environment. Not only is it used for self-expression but also as a distraction that shows different realities that connects the world. Societies use fashion to show their styles ,their culture, showcasing themselves in a cultural period. By demonstrating their styles, people show a personal identity. They can show what they think just by the way they dress, and they can even make cultural  statements with fashion without having to say a word.

Fashion is an ambiguous language, because it is open to a lot of different interpretations, each person has a way of interpreting what it means.

Fashion is like a team of pieces. If you look at a piece alone, you will have a primitive interpretation of what someone may be trying to express, but if you look and analyze the set of pieces, the whole outfit will provide a richer and deeper interpretation of what the person wanted to express. It doesn't matter the culture that a person has, everyone wants to be accepted by society, welcomed by who they are, so they use pieces of fashion trends to create their own styles. Style is rarely something you can achieve, in most cases either you are born with style or not, because style shows who you are, and it's hard to change who you are at your core, each one of us has different styles because each person is different, some styles are just better than others, but no style is bad, sometimes all a style needs is to become a trend, sometimes it's just people's fear that makes a style not popular. Fashion can also help people who tend to judge others by their image, which contributes to different cultural prejudices. The world is in a time where globalization controls everything, things change completely in less than a minute and fashion changes with everything, the people, the world, the languages, everything. Fashion can unify a society but divide it at the same time, people buy the popular trends, unifying themselves, but not everyone can afford the same trends, therefore being divided from the others.
